With deepest regret

It is with the deepest regret that the Committee has been advised of the passing away of Clive Fosh.

Clive was a firm supporter of the Romford League until ill health meant he had to give up his Committee work and playing table tennis some years ago. During his time in the League, Clive held the post of Assistant General Secretary to our past President Phyllis Lauder and as well as being a very competitive player he helped in coaching juniors at the Havering Coaching Club in the early years of the Club being launched. He supported the Havering Borough as the London Youth Games co-ordinator and was involved in running the Romford Closed Tournaments until he decided he had to retire from the league scene. He will be sorely missed and our sympathies are with his family.

The Committee will advise the funeral details when known.
