Eddie and Abdulla both taking 2, Ollie 1

Kevin took the other for MG beating Ollie in 4 and MG winning doubles again in a close fought 13-11 in 5th.

Not to forget Eddie trying so hard he fell through fire door 3 times lol

Maylands 3 v Trinity

Maylands continued their good recent form winning 9-1, Django and Jorden taking 3 each with young Daniel Wills taking 2 and losing a good game to the experienced Steve Muth.

Maylands took the doubles in a good 5 setter.

Div 2

Maylands 5 v Mossford

A close match saw mg edge past mossford in a hard fought match. Martin had a good night for mg winning all 3 games in 4 sets, John and jewels both winning 2, with vic beating victor in 4 and mg claiming the game with a tough 5 sets with 4 deuces and an 11-9 in the 5th.

Div 3

Cranston Park 5 and Maylands Green 9

The match result was a 9-1 win for the Maylands Green team who fielded Brandon Ireland (the 'oldie' of the team) Billy and Katie Noakes. Cranston Park gave a game to first season players Rahul Dasgupta and Oscar Spencer with Ben Eliott.

Four of the matches went the distance and were decided in the 5th end with a sprinkling of deuces and 9's throughout a competitive match. However, it was the harder and more penetrating forehands and consistent backhands from Billy and Katie, added with the experience from Brandon that saw the Maylands team home to a comfortable win. Rahul won the only point for Cranston beating Katie in a match that swung each way for all 5 ends. An enjoyable night with all the juniors showing that they have the skills to move further on in the sport and pleasing to see juniors coming through from both the Maylands Juniors and Havering Junior Coaching Clubs.
