Week 2 Report

Tollesbury Titans (Tom Lewis & Rob King) strolled to a 5-0 win over the Essex Blades and hold joint top spot on sets difference from Pegasus A (Stan Flint & Alan Foley) and Rowhedge A ( Martin Lewis & Roger Clarke) who beat Tollgate B (3-2) and Pegasus B (3-2) respectively. All 3 teams unbeaten at the moment. Denise Thompson won both her singles in her match against Pegasus A. Gt. Horkesley A (Steve Holland & Phil Wolski) beat Tollgate A 5-0 although the first 3 games went the full distance.Rowhedge B (Kamil Lentas & Mark Glenister) beat their clubmates, Rowhedge C (Jared Chelski & Chloe Andrews) 4-1, although 2 of the 4 wins went to the wire with the other 2 being really close. Zeroabove rested their captain but had a formidable replacement in Lauren James who won both her singles without dropping a set. Ken James, improving slightly from last weeks' injury, managed a singles win and another doubles triumph to help take the match 3-2.
