Week 10 of the Summer League on the 14th July and it was also National Table Tennis Day. Just one more round of matches to play, and we now have clear leaders at the top, Rowhedge E (Jared Chelski & Chloe Andrews) who narrowly defeated joint leaders, Pegasus B (Vic Little & Kevin Turner) 3-2. Dedham A (Jennie Clarke & Denise Thompson) maintained their challenge at the top with a 3-2 win over Gt. Horkesley A (Keith Monk & Peter Barnes). Rowhedge G (Jamie Morgan & Jarek Sahaj) registered a convincing 4-1 win over Rowhedge F (Martin & Gracie Edwards) a defeat which keeps them firmly on the bottom. Tollgate A (Daryl Lott & Adam Cuthbert) lost 5-0 to Rowhedge A (Martin Lewis & Roger Clarke) with neither player able to combat the handicaps. Rowhedge B (Pawel Szermo & Kamil Lentas) just edged out  Rowhedge C (John Andrews & David Moss) 3-2 with Pawel winning both his singles in straight sets.

Pegasus A (Alan Foley & Martin Hill) were soundly beaten 5-0 by Rowhedge D (Lajos Zsisku & Ronnie Kullick) where they, at long last, applied a more patient approach to their play which reaped dividends with the final result.

Favourites for the title, Rowhedge E play bottom placed Rowhedge F, surely a banker for the E side to retain the title they won last year. 2nd. place will be decided when Pegasus B play Dedham A. Everything to play for in this tie! Pegasus A play Tollgate A with only the fact that the Pegasus side could finish above Tollgate if they win well. Rowhedge C play Rowhedge D in the mid table clash, the result not of real significance as there is only club pride at stake. There is another all Rowhedge tie being Rowhedge A versus Rowhedge B, again playing for pride. Rowhedge G entertain Gt. Horkesley A with both sides to finish in the middle sphere.
