Eagles v Fire      

A well contested derby match between two equal teams

Toni Wong in only her second league game for Eagles did well in her match against Bill McClennan  taking an end off him but in a 3- defeat and put up a good show in her other two matches but couldn’t convert them into points. Luke Dumighan for Eagles started badly against Pingpong Paul Henderson of Fire going down in three but battled back to take his other two matches 3-2 against Bill and Caroline Lee. Haydn Williamson in his final game for eagles(now moving up to Comets) took MVP with a solid all round performance taking all his matches and with Becca Harrison took the doubles as well to give Eagles a welcome 6-4 win.
