Eagles v Brandon C
A terrific result by the young Eagles team, against a very experienced Brandon team who had the dynamic Ryan Morton with regulars John Parkin and Ian Cumpson. Jack Pugh played his usual measured game and used it to good effect against John moving him back and forth from the table to get him out of position. Haydn Williamson with his forehand drives, drove Ian away from the table to dominate the game. Luke Dumigham used his short serves to gain advantage over both John and Ian. None of the Eagles could overcome the power of Ryan who came through unbeaten and with John Parkin took the doubles, but the Eagles can be proud of a brilliant 6-4 win.
