The Scottish National League gets underway

The Scottish National League got underway on Saturday 3rd October 2015 with divisions 1,2,3 being held at Bells Sports Centre and division 4 being held at Drumchapel Table Tennis Club.

Division 1

Division 1 got off to a flier with the match of the day  being Grange (Christopher Wheeler, Stewart Crawford and Gerry Campbell) v North Ayrshire (Christopher Main, Richard Main and Colin Dalgleish. Two wins for the returning Stewart Crawford against Chris and Richard turned the tables and Christopher and Gerry picking up important wins ensured victory for the Grange against the 4 time champions. Grange then followed this up with a solid 6-0 win against Murrayfield A.

Drumchapel A (Victor Shi Guang, Yaser Razouk and Sepher Bidhari)got off to a solid start with two 6-0 wins against South Ayrshire and Scottish Vets. Knightswood A (Sean Doherty, Calum Main and Laurent Hendricxt)are looking very strong also winning both their matches 6-0 against Murrayfield A and South Ayrshire A.

Division 2

Early leaders in division 2 see Knightswood B (Caleb Guo, Calum Gerrard and Neil Doherty) and Dumfries A (Keir Morton, Dylan de Sylva and Danny Bajwa) both on 4 points. Knightswood defeated Edinburgh International 5-1 and Dundee and District 4-2. Dumfries defeated Triangle A and North Merchiston A.

Division 3

Stirlingshire B (Jamie Arnott, Brian Hunter and Conor Gordon) lead division 3 on four points with wins against Belway West Lothian (6-0) and Glasgow South B (6-0). Just behind them are North Ayrshire and Drumchapel C who are sitting on three points.

Division 4

South Ayrshire B (Harvey McDonald, Iain McHarg, Cameron Steele and Ross Dewar)and Triangle B (Craig Cummine, Uwe Paterson lead the division on four points. South Ayrshire defeated Drumchapel D (6-0) and Brunswick (5-1) and Triangle defeated Brunsswick (5-1) and Grange B (6-0).
