The leadership at the top of the Second Division seems to change every week. Newton Abbot Eagles hit the top this week, but have played extra games. The Eagles’ Andrew Tyrrell, Jim McIvor and Curtis Sage firstly beat Taverners 7-3 and then were held to a 5-5 draw by fellow title contenders Torbay Academy 3, whose new signing, Nicola Xu, made an immediate impact, winning all his singles. NA Falcons take over the runners-up spot following a whitewash victory over Brixham Trawlers.  Helen Glover and Dave Atkin were unbeaten as Marldon defeated NA Hawks 8-2.

First Division leaders Torbay Academy 1 got back to winning ways with a 7-3 victory over Halwell, with Patrik Cincala and Paul Myatt leading the Academy’s charge for the title.  A weakened NA Batmen side went down 6-4 to Torbay Academy 2, whose Dan Barnett picked up a fine maximum. Basement side Brixham Pirates prevented defeat for the first time this season; an excellent maximum from Ben Deakin put the Pirates 5-3 up against club colleagues the Gulls, but the Gulls recovered to secure a draw.

Denbury Tykes now have a 29-point lead at the top of the Third Division, their latest victory a whitewash over Dawlish Diamonds. Kevin Ayling was in fine form as he helped Marldon Tykes to an 8-2 victory over Torbay Academy 5.  Brixham Dolphins, with Terry Stead and Keith Williams unbeaten, defeated Hasbeens 7-3. A Steve Tucker maximum helped basement side Torre Tigers to a share of the points with NA Kestrels.

Torbay Academy sides head the 4^th Division; Academy 7 have a two-point lead over their 6^th team following a 7-3 victory over NA Kites, with Liam Wall getting a maximum for the Academy.  The Vultures’ Pete Sercombe maximum was not enough for the Newton Abbot side, as they just lost out 6-4 to Torbay Academy 6.  Tony Bussell led his Dawlish Drifters side to a 6-4 victory over Brixham Swifts.
