Geoff Beavington’s funeral will be on Friday 5th October at 4:15pm at Torquay Crematorium. The wake is at the Palace Hotel on the seafront in Paignton. All are welcome and if anyone wants to make a donation, then there will be a collection box for the Rowcroft Hospice at the crematorium or at the Co-op Funeralcare on Dartmouth road in Paignton........

Dave Alexander, one of our most senior players and Hasbeens’ Legend has decided to call it a day, and hang up his bat from playing competitive table tennis in the South Devon & Torbay League. He will, however still be playing socially and keep up with all Hasbeens’ news. Many thanks for your contribution, as a respected member of our committee and as an enjoyable opponent to encounter. I still remember that challenge handicap win over a certain Mr Gibbs!
