Alan Tyrrell made a welcome return to the Hasbeens team and together with Mike Wickens and Mike Coxhead secured a 10-0 win against NA Kites.
Hasbeens didnt have it all their own way, there were several 11-9 and above legs. The young Kites played very well, but Hasbeens experience and consistency won the day.
