Thornbury A remain unbeaten and at the top of the league as they defeated Phoenix A 9-1, Anthony Kent and Julian Elsbury were unbeaten for the visitors. Yate had a comfortable 8-2 victory at Cirencester with Andy Cox and Will Berkley returning maximums. Phoenix B defeated the visiting two man Forest Green A 6-4 although Dave Harvey went unbeaten for the Green. Woodchester B entertained Frampton A and thanks mainly to a Bob Murray hat trick the visitors went home with a 6-4 win.
With their nearest rivals not playing, Phoenix C increased their lead at the top of the division when they visited Forest Green B and came away with a 6-4 victory. Craig Smart was on form for the home team winning all his three singles. Two man Pessimists recorded a 6-4 victory over the visiting Woodchester C thanks to a Barry Morgan maximum. Thornbury B and the visiting Randwick A shared the spoils in a five all draw from which Gavin Rogers came out on top with a max for the home team. Dave Pugh scored three singles wins for Nailsworth A to give them a 6-4 victory over their hosts Whiteshill B.
Phoenix D hold onto top spot despite losing their first match of the season to the visiting Thornbury C for whom Viv Wilkie scored a maximum. Whiteshill C had a comfortable 9-1 victory over the visiting Randwick C. Andy Taylor and Chris Kowalczuk were both unbeaten for the home side. Two player Forest Green C beat the visiting Phoenix F 6-4 with Ian Yemm completing a hat trick for the hosts.
Despite losing 6-4 at Phoenix J, Cam B hold onto top spot in the division. Sam McIvor showed great determination and was unbeaten on the night for his Phoenix team as he recorded his second “man of the match” of the week. Randwick D keep up the pressure at the top as they beat the visiting Nailsworth B 8-2 with maximums for Akira Roe and George Morris. Phoenix G recorded a 6-4 victory over their Randwick E hosts for whom Tirian Jakes scored a maximum. Len Agg scored a max for Frampton D as they beat the visiting Forest Green D 7-3. And Phoenix I came out on top of the in club derby against their H team, Sam McIvor (playing up) was unbeaten for the I team helping them to a 7-3 win.
