week 5
Division 1:
Forest Green A had a comfortable 8-2 victory against the visiting Phoenix A thanks in part to a maximum from Olly Tyndall. Yate won by a similar score against the visiting Frampton B with Will Berkley scoring a max for the home team in their 8-2 win. Clive Ellison was on good form as he scored a max and helped Woodchester B to a 7-3 victory against the visiting Cirencester. Frampton A edged a close match against the visiting Phoenix B 6-4, but it was Liwu Wei who was man of the match for Phoenix with a maximum. 

Division 2:
Sally Jones scored a maximum on her debut for Phoenix C but couldn’t prevent the home side from losing 4-6 to the visiting  Whiteshill A. Randwick A beat Thornbury B in this top of the table clash 6-4, but the visitors Mark Attwood went undefeated. Frampton C beat the two player team from Nailsworth A 7-3 with Alan Perratt unbeaten on the night for Frampton.  

Division 3:
Phoenix E and Cam B shared the points at five apiece but it was the visitors Bev Browning who was player of the match winning her three singles for Cam. Thornbury C had a comfortable 9-1 victory against the visiting Randwick C with Steve Biles and Len Pattison both going unbeaten. Pat Pumphry scored a max for Woodchester D when they won 7-3 at Randwick D. Woodchester C inflicted the first defeat of the season on Phoenix F with Barry Morgan leading the attack for Woodchester with a maximum in their 6-4 victory.

Division 4:
Phoenix H edged out Frampton D 6-4 in this top of the table clash at the Phoenix club but no one player was able to dominate. The Randwick E trio of Pablo Carrington, Tom Docherty and Daniel Lloyd-Birchall all recorded maximums as they whitewashed the visiting Thornbury D. Forest Green C and Nailsworth B shared the points at five apiece with Alun Davies finishing as man of the match for Nailsworth with a max. Dave Watson guided Nailsworth C to a 6-4 victory against Forest Green D with a fine maximum. Phoenix G beat the visiting Cam C 6-4 but it was George Thomas who finished as man of the match for the visitors with a max.
