David Lloyd and James Ashton scored a max apiece for Woodchester A against their B team club mates to give them a 7-3 win that takes them to the top of the table. Forest Green A hold onto second spot despite losing 4-6 at home to Cirencester for whom Tom Watmore scored a hat trick. The points were shared at five apiece when Yate entertained Phoenix A but it was the visitors Liwu Wei who was man of the match with a maximum.
Woodchester C played host to Phoenix D but it was the visitors who left with a 7-3 win, thanks in part to a maximum from Sam McIvor. Phoenix C entertained two player Thornbury B and were pleased to finish 6-4 winners with Mike Davis unbeaten in singles for the home side.
Nailsworth A convincingly beat the visiting Randwick B 9-1 with Dave Pugh and Jane Leigh hitting maximums, a score line which sends Nailsworth to the top of the table. Thornbury C, are in second place after edging their match against the visiting Woodchester D 6-4, Graham Eden was man of the match scoring a max for the home side. William Snell scored a max for Randwick D which helped them come away from Phoenix F with a 7-3 victory. The return of Bruce Ind, who scored a max for Phoenix E, helped his side to a 6-4 win against the visiting Whiteshill C.
Cam B increased their lead at the top of the division to 17 points after inflicting a whitewash over their hosts Nailsworth B. Tony Averis, Joe Collins and Paul Stewart were the unbeaten trio. Phoenix G remain in second place after beating the visiting Nailsworth C 8-2, Chris Hampton was man of the match and Sasha Curzon also won three. Cam C, entertained Phoenix H but couldn’t beat the visitors Howard Spellman who helped his side to a 6-4 win. The points were shared at five all when the two teams at the wrong end of the division clashed, Joe Garrett-Kelly was man of the match as he scored a maximum for the young Phoenix I team against a slightly older Thornbury D!
