Despite only fielding two players and losing 4-6 at home to Thornbury A, Woodchester A remain top of the division. Thornbury’s Dave Reeves won both his singles. Frampton A move into second place after coming away from Cirencester with all ten points thanks to the unbeaten Robin Munson, Abu and Bhargav. The points were shared at five apiece between the two Phoenix sides with Liwu Wei scoring a maximum for the B team. The points were also equally shared between Woodchester B and the visiting Forest Green A, Clive Ellison was unbeaten for the hosts earning him the man of the match. Joseph Sheppard scored a max for Yate as they left Frampton B with a 6-4 victory.
Thornbury B had a comfortable home win over Woodchester C, beating the visitors 9-1 and moves them clear at the top of the division. Gavin Rogers, Simon Monks and Mark Attwood all went unbeaten in singles. Randwick A came away from Whiteshill B with a 7-3 victory which puts them in joint second place but the visitors couldn’t dislodge Chris Varley who scored a max for the home team. Forest Green share the second place on equal points after drawing five all at home to Phoenix D, Sam McIvor was man of the match scoring a hat trick for the visitors. An unbeaten Mike Davis led Phoenix C to a 6-4 victory over the visiting 2 players from Cam & Dursley A. Frampton C defeated the visiting Whiteshill A 7-3, Dave Metcalfe was unbeaten for the hosts against the two visiting players.
William Snell scored a maximum for Randwick D when they entertained Thornbury C but he couldn’t prevent the visitors leaving with a 6-4 which moves them clear at the top of the division. Despite only fielding two players Nailsworth A drew five all at Randwick C putting them in second place in the division, the visitors Dave Pugh scored a maximum. The points were shared between the two Phoenix sides but Bruce Ind for the visiting F team was man of the match with a max. Whiteshill C comfortably beat the visiting Forest Green C 8-2 thanks in part to an undefeated Andy Taylor.
Tony Averis scored a maximum for Cam & Dursley B as they beat the visiting Phoenix H 7-3 maintaining their position at the top of the division. Phoenix G hold onto second spot after convincingly beating their young club mates from the I team 10-0, Rob Arthur and Howard and Thomas Spellman were the unbeaten trio. Forest Green D lost 1-9 at home to Nailsworth B as Alun Davies and Mark Davies each returned maximums for the visitors. Cam & Dursley C came away from Thornbury D with a comfortable 7-3 victory with the visitors Bev Browning scoring a maximum. Nailsworth C could only field two players as they went down 2-8 at home to Frampton D, Brian Cullis was unbeaten for the visitors.
