Penlan A had a 24-11 win against Tata Port Talbot A. Marc Castro winning 9-0 and Tommy Heydon 9-1. They then wrapped up the title by defeating
Carmarthen A 29-8 in their last game of the season. Tommy Heydon 9-0 and Marc Castro 9-1.
Penlan D comfortably beat Penlan B 30-7 to remain at the top with Dean Cundy 9-0 moving back to lead the averages.
At the other end Cam Gears B will return to the 1st Division after losing 23-14 to Penlan C who are making a last bid to avoid relegation. Kevin Gertson 9-2 for C.
Penlan D stretched their lead at the top with A 26-15 win over Penyrheol A thanks to Steffen Griffiths 9-4 and Dean Cundy 9-3 for D although the 3 points lost by Dean
means that he loses his place at the top of the player averages.
The race for the title and relegation battles produced some very close finishes this week.
Carmarthen A beat Penlan A 20-15 thanks to a great 9-1 from Jason Peckham to retain 2nd spot.
Although it was cup week there was a full program of matches in the premier League. With the top 5 teams all winning by similar scores there was no changes at the top. The only significant move was Tata PT climbing out of the bottom 2 with a 23-15 win over Cam Gears B.
2 man Betws A maintained top spot although going down 20-17 to Carmarthen B despite a great 9-1 from Cath Jones.
Penlan D moved closer with a 25-13 win over Tata PT A with Dean Cundy 9-0 and Josh Morgan 9-4.
B the win. Charles Legg finishing with 9-3.
With Penlan A not playing this week a battle for top spot saw leaders Betws A beaten 23-14 by their closest challengers Penlan D.

Carmarthen A moved into 3rd spot with a crushing 29-6 win over Penlan C with Jason Peckham 9-0 and Dave Lloyd 9-1.
The biggest upset this week was the 19-19 draw between top team Betws A and lowly Tata Port Talbot A.
With 2 games to go Tata led 16-15. Ian Shipley extended the lead winning 3-1 before Cath Jones won the last 3-0 to give Betws a share of the points....
With leaders Penlan A not playing, Betws A missed the opportunity of going top. Going down 22-19 to Cam Gears A thanks to a great 9-3 from Cath Jones.
Penlan D beat Carmarthen A 21-11 to move into 2nd place. Dean Cundy retained his 100% record with a fine 9-0 for Penlan.
Penlan A retained top spot dropping just the doubles game in their 29-7 win over Cam Gears A.
Betws A jumped into 2nd place, easily defeating a weakened Carmarthen A side 30-7 who slip to 4th.
Penlan E beat Cam Gears B 24-13 with Ben Mora 9-2 and Peter Langley 9-3 for Penlan.
