Match No 11 - Jan 18 - 22
This week saw wins for the leading teams in each of the three divisions. Top of division Wilnecote Raiders secured an 8-2 win over Netherseaels. Michael Bree won all his three for Wilnecote and it was Jason Hadley who gained the two points for Netherseales. Curdworth Wheelers Pingers also had a victory. For Curdworth it was Dawn Sagoo who managed a maximum three out of three and Ronnie Woollaston played the best for Kingsbury Tornadoes, who lost 7-3 overall. Also this week there was a massive 10-0 win for Tamworth Youth Club Wheelers Wiff Waffs. They beat tamworth Youth Club Wanderers in a home derby that saw Jody Bevington, Jack styring and Adrian Jones triumphi in every single game. A closer match was Lichfield Kings and Queens vs Netherseal Cedar which resulted in a 5-5 draw. Varya Meredith and Cyril Merriman won 2 games each for Lichfield and in reply Gary Carr won two for the Netherseal team, who also claimed the doubles to balance the overall score.

In division 2 Hopwas Jokers A had a 10-0 victory against their second team Hopwas Jokers B. Vincent Vidal, Martin Tallis and Alistair Tallis won all their games. At Lichfield the Knaves had a 7-3 loss to Netherseal Oak. Brian Hagger gets man of the match as he won 3 games for Netherseal. The last match in this division was a triumph for Spital Daredevils who beat Tamworth Rugby Club Kings 6-4. In this close match Stafford Brookes and Paul Bowler got 2 wins each for Spital and Johnathon Pilling notched up the same amount of games for the Kings.

This week in divison 3 saw Lichfield Musketeers beat Kingsbury Cruisers 8-2. All the Lichfield players put in good performances with Alan Thorne claiming a maximum of 3 games and Paul Edwards and John Bell adding 2 more each. All the other 3 games in this division ended with a 7-3 scoreline. This included Tamworth Youth Club Lambs beating Tamworth Youth Club Talentz. James Shaw claimed all 3 for the Lambs, but Hayden Wooton for the junior Talentz team  took two games off them and along with Ellis Kesterton won the doubles point too. Following the 7 – 3 trend  top of the table Rugby Club Oddballs beat Spital Mondays. Kevin Wright won all his 3 games for the Oddballs and he was helped by 2 wins each from his team mates, Dave Storr & Keith Pratt. The final 7 – 3 result came from Lichfield Rockets beating Netherseal Ash.  Zoran  Djukovic and Crrisstopher Davis were the star players for the Lichfield team, securing a maximum 3 games each for their team.
