Match No 15 - feb 23 - feb 26

   Division 1 leaders Wilnecote Raiders earned another 10 points towards taking the Tamworth title this week. They beat Tamworth Youth Club wanderers 10 - 0. For Wilnecote, Andy Bache, Ken read andRyan Birbeck all scored a maximum 3 points. Netherseales also secured a 10 - 0 win against Lichfield Kings & Queens. Andy Rose, Simon Hall and Danny Sullivan all won three out of three. Curdworth Wheelers Pingers had a 7 - 3 victory over Netherseal Cedar. Dawn Sagoo won three games, Rob sheldon won two and Gary Nash added one more.

  In division 2, the current leaders Lichfield Jets produced a 10 - 0 win against Hopwas B. Gary Dawson, Jack Gillespie and Harry Emberson all won 3 games each. Tamworth Rugby Club Kings triumphed 8 - 2  over Curdworth Wheelers Pongers. Both Johnathan Pilling and Nigel Thompson won all their games. Dean Snowden won two games, only beaten by David Bree in the last battle of the night. Contenders for the top spot, Hopwas A had a 7 - 3 win over Lichfield Knaves.  Martin Tallis won three games, while Alistair Tallis got two and Vincent Vidal one for Hopwas. Morgan Sykes was the top scorer for Lichfield winning two out of her possible three.  Finally in this division, Spital Daredevils also hqd a 7 - 3 victory playing Netherseal Oak. Alan Baker got a hat=trick while Paul Bowler added two and Stafford Brooks one.

 Top of division 3, Tamworth Rugby Club Oddballs had a fairly close match for them, they narrowly beat Lichfield Rockets 6 - 4. Oddballs, Dave Storr, Kevin Wright and Ron Simpson all scored two points each. It was Zoran Djurkovic who played sensationly on the night to beat all of them plus with the help of Chris Davis win the doubles game too. Spital Mondays had a similar close match, beating Tamworth Youth Club Lambs 6 - 4. The Lambs were one man down due to injury but Rich Elson and Jamed Shaw managed to win two games each. For Spital, John Brookes claimed man of the match by beating both of them and winning the doubles with Paul Watkins. Fimally there was a draw between Lichfield Musketeers and Netherseal Ash. The 5 - 5 scoreline included three wins for Ash player Mick Sherratt, backed up by two wins for Graham  Clarke. for The Musketeers, Paul Edwards won two games while John Bell and Peter Collins secured one apiece.
