Thornbury A and Thornbury C both made strong starts to their 2015-16 Stroud & District league campaigns.

In Division One, a strong trio of Emily Standing, Anthony Kent and Dave Reeves put Woodchester B to the sword, recording a 9-1 victory. I'll not say who lost the only game.............but her name begins with E!! 

In Division Three, Thornbury C (otherwise known as Team Rubbish) beat Forest Green C 8-2. Graham (Grampy) Eden and Viv Wilkie both won all of their matches. Tracy Dibble won one of her singles matches then teamed up with Len Pattison to take the doubles
