The Stroud League season reached its conclusion last night with more success for Thornbury's players. This really has been a season to remember with plenty of team and individual successes, whilst still maintaining the Thornbury ethos of playing the game hard but fair.

To summarise the season's results

Thornbury A (Julian Elsbury, Anthony Kent, Ian Maggs, Dave Reeves, Emily Standing, Len Vowles) - Division One and Albert Mann Cup winners. Only the 2nd team to do 'the double' in the league's history!

Thornbury B (Mark Attwood, Sue Bailey, Gavin Rogers, Simon Lewis) - Division Two Runner's Up

Thornbury C (Stephen Biles, Tracy Dibble, Graham Eden, Len Pattison, Craig Skeldon, Viv Wilkie, Gary Worsfold) - Division Three 3rd Place

Emily Standing - Ladies Singles & Doubles Winner, Mixed Doubles Winner

Tracy Dibble - Ladies Doubles Winner

Dave Reeves - Open Doubles and Mixed Doubles Winner

Anthony Kent - Open Doubles Winner and Open Singles Runner Up

Mark Attwood - Division Two Singles Winner

Stephen Biles - Division Three Singles Winner

Graham 'Grampy' Eden - Division Three Singles Runner Up
