Ray got the hosts off to a good start with the first of his 3-0 wins over Chris, swifly followed by a fine win for Brian over Graham. Colin increased the lead beating Dan 3-0, before Eastmoor struck back with Chris getting the better of Brian over 5 sets. PWTT v Eastmoor C

Lee, Nicky and Kevin had to contend with Anthony, Paul Haycock and Charlie. Lee and Anthony got the evening started with Lee easing to a 3-0 win and on the adjacent table Nicky was able to achieve the same outcome against Paul. Kev now took on Charlie and this ended with the same outcome. Nicky quickly got the better of Anthony and Lee managed to do the same to Charlie, so after Kev survived a tough battle with Paul the win was assured. Nicky took his 3rd straight sets win this one over Charlie, Kev breezed past Anthony and Lee emulated Nicky with his 3rd 3-0 win. The doubles victory for Kev and Lee wrapped up a 10-0 win for PWTT

Denhale  v Eastmoor  B

Chow, Graham and Phil encountered Paul, Carl and Tyrone at a slippy Eastmoor church.

Chow got the match underway and beat in form Paul 3-1 and Graham increased the pressure with a fine 3-0 win over Carl. Phil looked to be adding to this going 2-0 up against Tyrone, but he couldn’t quite get over the finish line and Tyrone took the next 3. Graham went down 3-1 to Paul with 3 sets going to deuce and Chow too found Tyrone in excellent form losing 3-1. Phil was bit too good for Carl as he took a  3-0 and so to the doubles. Chow and Graham raced into a 2 sets lead before Tyrone and Paul staged a comeback to win the next 3 and take a 4-3 lead in the match. Graham was on next against Tyrone and despite winning the first set he couldn’t hold back a resurgent Tyrone, going down 3-1. Phil found Paul back in top form and lost 3-0 securing a 3rd point for Eastmoor and finally Chow overcame Carl in 4 close run sets. 6-4 to the B  team.
