Ping Pong Care Campaign needs your backing for national award!
The Table Tennis England-supported Ping Pong Care Campaign, ran by BRITDOC, has been nominated for a National Lottery Award, recognising the great work that has been accomplished using table tennis ‘therapy’ in care homes across the UK.
The Ping Pong Care Campaign, utilising the popular Ping Pong Film (see below) as inspiration, has inspired some 60,000 older people since last year to become more active by playing table tennis during their countrywide project. They are now looking for more public support as they compete for a special National Lottery Award which could lead to even greater achievements using ping pong within the elder community.
The Ping Pong Care Campaign was plucked from more than 750 entries and shortlisted into the public vote for Best Health category in the annual search for the UK’s favourite Lottery funded projects. www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/project/ping-pong-care-campaign

Since taking their active ageing message all across the country, handing out free resources to the most in need care settings around the UK, and changing the lives of thousands of older people for the better, Andrew Battley, Ping Pong Care Campaign Co-ordinator, said “We’re beyond delighted to have reached the finals of the awards
