AGM 2021

Attendance at the annual general meeting is essential for the league – make a note! - no excuses  It's a zoom event

With the restrictions in force, sadly we were not able to have a league programme for 2020-2021. The good news is that the UK appears to have got itself into a positive position in terms of vaccinating its people, and if all is well, we could see the restrictions being lifted. The league’s AGM is being held on 7th June using ZOOM at 7.30 p.m., and I daresay that there will be a lot of interest from our secretaries and members and I look forward to speaking to you all.

 Remember the survey ?

Our League’s General Secretary Steve Leven had emailed a survey to club secretaries to get their views and s for the running of the   summer and winter leagues. Alas, we had a 50% return with some hedging their bets. At our last meeting in May, the Management Committee decided to cancel our plans for a summer league if we could not gain access to venues for the competition. Unfortunately, none of our regular venues were available, so there will not be any summer league. There was no clear indication from our survey responses with regards to preferences for the winter league, the format, the number of teams, and also with the uncertainty of Whitefriars being available, clubs using the school as a venue were reluctant to commit. Hopefully we get a more clear picture after the AGM. Please try and get a participant from your club at the AGM. The link to attend is as follows:
