GDPR Statement

West Bridgford Table Tennis Club (WBTTC) takes the view that, as you are asked to renew your membership each year, you do so on the understanding that the Club will keep you abreast of any events and will send you information pertaining to the Club. It also accepts that, as a Club for Table Tennis, you will be interested in Table Tennis matters.

 The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect on 25 May 2018 and gives you more control over how your personal data is processed.

Under GDPR, your personal data should be processed fairly, lawfully and transparently, and collected for specified and legitimate purposes only.

Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting your personal data.

Your rights regarding the use and security of your personal data will always be respected.

Your personal data will not be sold to other third parties.

 At WBTTC we hold member’s personal data securely on a database which is password-protected and is accessed by authorised members only.

 Member’s details will only be used to contact them regarding information pertaining to WBTTC and their membership, as well as any table tennis matters that the Committee feels are of interest to the membership. We will do this as a service update email.

Members will be able to opt-in to any general marketing information that the Club, from time to time, may circulate.

 A full copy of the WBTTC Privacy Policy is available to view on the WBTTC website.  It details the type of personal data we collect from you, how we process it, who we may share it with, how we ensure it remains confidential, and your choices and rights.
