Is there anyone out there that fancies completing the Level 1 Coaching Course ?  We have funding for one individual but if there are 2 people interested I am sure we could fund a second person.

The Course itself is run over 2 weekends , usually about 6 weeks apart. In between times there is some home learning & preparation work to do. In addition a 4 hour First Aid course and a 3 hour Safeguarding & Protecting Children course would need to be attended.

Your own level of table tennis ability matters not. You simply need to have a desire to put something back into table tennis , have excellent communication skills and a passion for helping young people. I can assure you that coaching is an extremely rewarding pastime.

As well as having the desire to complete the course you would need to be prepared to commit to a couple of hours a week to assist Vince , Geoff and myself in coaching our current band of junior players. Junior coaching is currently held on Saturdays from 10.00am to 1.00pm.
