Each of the first Divisions top 3 sides scored a maximum 36 points from this weeks fixtures. Stogumber A conceded just 3 points to Roys Boys. Lee and Roy Hooper took a set each from Mervyn Hiller and Martyn Summerell respectively. Lee Hooper then combined with Bob Preston to take Roys Boys third point in their doubles against Hillier & David Bryant.
Minehead A could only muster 2 points from their home tie with reigning champions Wiveliscombe. Terry Cadman took Mineheads only singles point in a 4 set defeat to Paul Nutkins. He then teamed up to take a doubles point with partner Chris Norman against Nutkins & David Woodland.
Joe Camp amassed 4 of Swallows 8 points in their 36-8 defeat at the hands of Basement Dwellers. Both Camp and Jasper Pye forced Toby Kerslake to 5 sets with fine performances against a strong Dwellers team. Benjamin Forster added a point to Swallows tally by taking a set from Mike Vickery.
In Division 2 Ryan & Connor Graddon and Luke Westcott made their debuts for Swifts. They found the going tough against their more experienced junior opponents House Martyns. Ryan Graddon scored Swifts 2 points from an excellent 5 set tussle with Ellie Baker.
A Marcus Short maximum helped Mad Batters to a 28-15 away victory at Drifters. Trevor Short and Hamish Cuthbertson added 7 & 5 singles points for the Batters. Liz Fletcher top scored for Drifters with 5 points from her singles.
