Results Received up to 12th January

Whilst Stogumber A took maximum points from their match at Minehead A it was Minehead’s Don Davis who put in the performance of the night.  He took 6 of Minehead’s 8 points as he forced Martyn Summerell, David Bryant and Mervyn Hillier to 5 sets.

In Division Two Drifters won by a single point at St Audries despite an Andrew Godfrey maximum.  St Audries suffered the loss of Jim Stiles due to illness, following his 3-1 singles success over Ali Lang.  Drifters David Smith sealed their narrow victory with a straight sets win over Julie Pennington-Ridge, White Horse fielded a strong team and raced to a comfortable 36-1 home win over Hobby Horse.  Corinne Rees recorded Hobby Horse’s only point by forcing Tim Auton to 4 sets.
