Wiveliscombe have maximum points from their opening fixtures following a 36-3 win at Swallows. Only Benjamin Forster managed a singles point for the juniors forcing David Woodland to 4 sets.
Vince Court and Paul Rees recorded maximums as Basement Dwellers defeated Minehead A 29-14. Chris Norman top scored for Minehead with 5 points from his singles.
David Bryant & Martyn Summerell both scored maximums to help Stogumber A to a 34-10 home win over Shooting Stars. Martin Shoots gained 4 of Shooting Stars points which included a 4 set win over Mervyn Hiller.
Performance of the week came in Division 2 as Joseph Burt scored a perfect maximum against a full strength White Horse team. Andrew Burt also recorded a maximum to give the juniors a fine victory.
White Horse defeated Drifters 31-19 thanks to an Ian Rew maximum and 7 singles points each for Jamie Robertson and Colin White.
Jack Lancaster scored a fine maximum in the first ever West Somerset Junior League match. Partner Nathan Brazier added a singles point and the doubles to give Hawks a 10-8 victory over Toby Court and Kyla Stothard of the Swifts.
On Saturday 17th October WSTTA organised the Somerset County Junior Trials at the New Academy, Taunton. 7 West Somerset juniors competed against 27 other top juniors from across the County. Without exception the West Somerset representatives competed well against strong opposition. Outstanding performances as follows:
