Wiveliscombe look to have secured the Division One title having defeated Basement Dwellers 31-11.  John Edbrooke put in a Man of the Match performance to complete a straight sets maximum.  David Woodland was denied his maximum by a 5 set defeat to Vince Court.

Eddie Ferris recorded the only maximum of the match to help Gnomads to a 33-9 victory over Swallows.  Joe Camp put in a great performance for Swallows forcing Ferris to 5 sets before winning hard fought games against Martin Rant and Nigel Foster.

Basement Dwellers maintained their hopes of a runners up spot with a fine 29-19 win over Stogumber A.  Vince Court completed a great maximum which included a 14-12 fifth set win over Martyn Summerell.  Mike Vickery added a further 8 singles points for the Dwellers. Paul Rees played a large part in helping Dwellers to a maximum 9 doubles points to Stogumbers’ 1.

White Horse look favourites to take the Division 2 title having amassed 104 points from 3 outstanding fixtures.  The most significant result being a 36-4 home win over Barn Boys as Tim Auton, Ollie Rew and Ian Rew took them to maximum points.

Hobby Horse completed their season with a 33-9 victory at House Martyns.  Mike Lawrie and Corinne Rees each achieved maximums.  Joseph Burt and Ellie Baker each managed a singles win over Di Preece. 

Kyla Stothard took Swifts’ only point of the match as they went down by 36 points to 1 at home to White Horse.

Joe Camp and Benjamin Forster met in the Junior Final which had to be rescheduled away from Finals Night.  Both players showed how much progress they have made this season and played some great table tennis.  Forster (-3) won a hard fought first set 21-19 and then showed great consistency and composure to win the second 21-12 as Camp’s (-6) usually reliable attack began to falter.
