A Geoff Williams maximum helped Shooting Stars to a comfortable home win over Minehead A. Martin Shoots and Robin Arkell contributed 8 & 7 singles points each for the Stars. Chris Norman took 5 of Minehead's points including a 4 set win over Arkell.
A first outing of the season for Roys Boys Harry Harrison resulted in a maximum but wasn’t enough to avoid defeat at Swallows. A great team performance by the Juniors saw Joe Camp, Benjamin Forster and Jasper Pye take 7 singles points each.
Maximums for Dave Smith and Liz Fletcher steered Drifters to a 30-16 victory at St. Audries. Andy Godfrey recorded St. Audries only singles success with a 5 set win over Ali Lang.
Tony’s Troopers ran out 33-13 winners at House Martyns thanks to maximums from Kerry Manicom and Sifa Vea. Joseph Burt top scored for House Martyns with 7 points from his singles.
In the Junior League a Kyla Stothard maximum helped Swifts to an 11-9 win over Magpies. The maximum included a 5th set win over brother Duncan Stothard.
