Basement Dwellers & Wiveliscombe kept up their challenges for the league title with big wins. Basement Dwellers defeated Tigers by 36 points to 2 and Wiveliscombe won 35-8 at Gnomads. Martin Rant put in a great performance for Gnomads taking 5 singles points which included a 3-2 win over Paul Nutkins
Stogumber A also notched up maximum points with a 36-2 home win over Minehead A.
Swallows won their third game of the season as they defeated Roys Boys 29-16. Both Joe Camp and Benjamin Forster scored maximums for the Juniors. Jasper Pye added 6 singles points with wins over Roy Hooper and Bob Preston. Barry Hooper top scored for Roys Boys with 6 points from his singles.
Minehead A suffered a 10-33 home defeat at the hands of Shooting Stars. Both John Philips and Martin Shoots recorded maximums for the Stars and Tony Burrows added 6 singles points to give them a comprehensive win.
Mad Batters maintained their 100% record in Division Two but were taken to the wire by second placed Barn Boys. Jamie and Mathew Short completed maximums for the Batters. Barn Boys scored a maximum 9 points in the doubles to keep the score line close.
White Horse kept up their title challenge with a 34-7 victory at Hobby Horse. Chris Berry-Roper and Tim Auton took maximums and Captain Jamie Robertson added 7 singles points. Mike Lawrie took 4 of Hobby Horse’s 7 points from his singles.
