Lee Hooper of Roys Boys became the first player this season to win a singles against Wiveliscombe. Coming from 2 sets down Hooper defeated David Woodland 11-9 in the fifth set to earn a hard fought win.
Vince Court and Toby Kerslake scored maximums for Basement Dwellers who stormed to a 31-12 away win at Gnomads. Nigel Foster took Gnomads only singles with a straight sets win over Paul Rees.
Shooting Stars won their first game of the season defeating Mad Batters 35-6. Geoff Williams and Martin Shoots recorded maximums for Shooting Stars. Matthew Short defeated Robin Arkell in 5 sets to take Mad Batters only singles win.
Toby Kerslake achieved his second maximum in a week as Minehead A won 27-17 at Swallows. Jasper Pye top scored for Swallows with 7 points from his singles including wins over Dave Veale and Don Davis.
In Division 2 a Liz Fletcher maximum helped Drifters to a 30-17 victory over Hobby Horse.
Joseph and Andrew Burt both recorded maximums for House Martyns as they inflicted a second defeat upon Hobby Horse.
Tonys Troopers and Barns Boys contested the closest match of the season to date. Kerry Manicom achieved the only maximum of the match to edge the Troopers to victory by a single point.
In the Junior League Fu Jien Ting and Jack Lancaster scored maximums as Hawks defeated Kites 15-0.
