Eddie Ferris scored a fine maximum for Gnomads to help them to a 32-14 away win at Roys Boys. Barry & Lee Hooper got Roys Boys off to a flying start with singles wins over Nigel Foster and Martin Rant. After 4 games the home side led 10-8. Gnomads went on to win the remaining 8 games to ease to a comfortable victory.
Paul Rees and Vince Court both recorded maximums for Basement Dwellers in a 26-16 win at Minehead A. Don Davis put in a great performance for Minehead taking 6 of their 16 points from his singles.
Martyn Summerell managed the only maximum of the night as Stogumber A defeated Shooting Stars by 30 points to 12. Geoff Williams denied David Bryant and Mervyn Hillier their maximums with straight sets singles triumphs over both.
In Division Two Hobby Horse suffered a 15-27 home defeat at the hands of rapidly improving St. Audries. This was despite a Mike Lawrie maximum. A solid team performance saw Andy Godfrey, Jim Stiles and Julie Pennington-Ridge take 8, 7 and 6 singles points respectively.
Keiran Hurford completed a maximum for Kites in his first Junior League appearance. Luke Westcott defeated Curtis Beynan-Pearce 3-1 and then teamed up with Hurford to take the doubles 3-1. Kyla Stothard scored 3 points for Swifts with a straight sets singles win over Westcott.
