Toby Kerslake top scored for Minehead A as they went down 34-9 at Basement Dwellers.  Vince Court & Mike Vickery recorded maximums for the Dwellers.  Minehead’s only singles success came from a 3-1 win for Kerslake over Paul Rees.

Stogumber A enjoyed a 30-13 home victory over Gnomads thanks to a Martyn Summerell maximum along with 7 & 5 singles points for David Bryant and Mervyn Hillier.  Martin Rant and Nigel Foster scored 4 points a piece for Gnomads including wins over Bryant and Hillier respectively. 

Toby Kerslake followed up a great performance against Basement Dwellers with a fine maximum at home to Wiveliscombe.  Dave Veale and Don Davis added 3 singles points each for Minehead but Wiveliscombe shaded the match 26-20 with David Woodland taking 8 points from his singles. 

In Division Two Space Invaders & Hobby Horse played out a rare draw.  Julie Pennington-Ridge top scored for Space Invaders with 8 points from her singles and was only denied a maximum in a fifth set defeat by Di Preece.   

House Martyns found the experience of Barn Boys too much to handle and went down to a 36-7 defeat.  Graham Lamacraft, Steve Palmer and Andy Fay all recorded maximums for Barn Boys.  Ellie Baker took 4 of House Martyns’ points forcing both Lamacraft and Palmer to 5 sets. 

There were maximums for Andy Godfrey and Mathew Short as Mad Batters notched up 33 points at Drifters.  Trevor Short added 7 singles points for the Batters but went down 11-13 in a fourth set defeat to Mike Pretty.
