We have now had our second week of table tennis at The Lawns.- Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, which have been very successful with all the safeguards in place.

Our most successful evening was last Wednesday when Jim Stiles, formerly a member of Space Invaders decided to give us a test when he had a heart attack in the hall.  With the quick thinking from members present, who worked as a team and used the defibrillator he is now in hospital waiting to have an angiogram - possibly on Tuesday to try and sort the problem with heart.

I have spoken to his wife Pat and she said Jim and her would like to thank us all for what we did for Jim.  He is quite cheerful and looks remarkably well considering what he went through.

I am sure we would all like to wish him well and a speedy recovery.  I will keep you all up to date once he has had the angiogram.
