Winter season 2021-2022

We had 25 team applications for the new season. The committee has met and decided, having taken into account promotion/relegation from the last season we played, and team requests, that in order for there to be a balanced competition across all the league, there will be 7 teams in the Premier and 9 teams in each of divisions 1 and 2.

Divisions 1 and 2 will commence the season in week beginning 13 September but, so that there won't be large gaps in the fixtures later in the season, the Premier division will only commence in week beginning 4 October.

The website will be configured shortly and the fixtures will be added as soon as they have been worked out. This is not an easy task given our league circumstances so please be patient.

Please be aware that each venue may have its own COVID-19 rules in an attempt to prevent further spread of the disease. The simple advice for everyone is to carry a face covering with you at all times ( unless you are exempt). Spectators are required to wear face coverings ( unless you are exempt).

The meeting to collect Handbooks and pay subs will be on Thursday 9 September at Leigh Miners Welfare, from 7.30 pm.

Finally, in order that all results of matches can be recorded, it is necessary that all players are registered on the TT365 system. The majority of players already are but new players and, for some unknown reason, some "old" players are not on there. I will attempt to register everyone from the information I have access to but it may be necessary to contact you, in some cases, for details.
