The League has learned with sadness of the death of Geoff on Monday 21 October 2019.

Geoff was national councillor for Lancashire as well as a Lancashire TT committee member.

Anyone who knew Geoff is welcome to attend his funeral.

An Extraordinary General Meeting will be held on Thursday 25th. April at Leigh Miners Welfare, commencing at 8 p.m. with the sole item on the agenda the future of the league with regard to the management of website, fixtures etc..

The set up of the mini leagues is now complete and the details and fixtures are displayed on the website.

These matches are completely separate from the regular leagues.

The matches are to be played in exactly the same way as regular league matches.

Our biggest club is growing all the time and has just been given some more good news. The Senior section which meets every Thursday has been awarded funds by Age UK to purchase three new Butterfly Easifold 22 tables which will be added to those already at LSG new premises, the Mill.

It was hoped the semi final draws would be live on BBC's The One Show but the programme was rescheduled.

Instead the draw took place in the Heinz Bean Pool and it is now listed in the Information section of the website under League KO.
