KO Cup and League Cup Prelim Matches

The draw for the KO Cup and League Cup prelim matches has now been made. You will find the draw in full in the ADTTA Cups section.

Having 35 teams this season meant we needed to eliminate 3 teams to conduct a draw for the Round of 32 in the KO Cup. In addition for the League Cup, Division 3 and Division 4 require prelim matches to get to a Quarter Final stage, this resulting in 1 match in Division 3 and 2 matches in Division 4. For full transparency Division 4 teams were excluded from the prelim draw of the KO Cup, due to the number of teams involved in the League Cup.

These prelim matches will take place in week commencing 2nd December. All KO Cup prelim matches are under time pressure due to the next round taking place 2 weeks later (week commencing 16th December). The Round of 32 draw will take place very shortly. I ask that all team secretaries keep an eye on the ADTTA Cups section, as this will now be my main form of communication going forward.

Handicaps will be released in the coming weeks after some more matches are played to allow for the most accurate ratings this season.

There is a change to the League Cup for the coming season, only 7 matches will be played this season (6 singles and a doubles). Each player will play 2 singles and potentially a 4th player may get involved in the doubles. All matches will still be based using Ratings Central. A further rules update will be distributed shortly along with scorecards.
