In the last round of the National Junior League, Emily Koester and Oli Matthews both played for Byng Hall Red in Tunbridge Wells and won a team silver medal as they finished second to Sidcup-based Cleeve Park Red in a very close final event involving six teams and losing the gold medal by just one point.
Both players also completed their first season in the Hastings and District Table Tennis Association senior league. Emily played for Bexhillians D, who won Division 2, winning 36 of her 42 games with a win percentage of 85.71% and Oli played for Bexhillians G who won Division 3, winning 51 out of 51 games obtaining a maximum win percentage of 100%.
