Top four look to strengthen British League positions

It’s a case of new year but the same thrills and spills as the British League Premier Division returns this weekend.

An almighty title race is chaping up in the country’s elite competition, with the top four clubs split by just two points.
The leading quartet – Urban, Ormesby, Drumchapel and Ormeau – all face teams in the bottom half of the table this weekend and will be on the prowl for big victories.
It’s a battle of top against bottom in Barnet as leaders Urban host Fusion. The defending champions have a solitary one-point advantage at the top of the division and will be keen to secure a strong result to retain their advantage at the top.
Ormesby are hot on their heels in second. They entertain Scottish outfit North Ayrshire at the weekend, with the game moved back to Sunday. As a result, the Cleveland outfit will know exactly what is required once they take to the court.
Drumchapel, who are tied third with Ormeau, face the trickiest fixture of the four as they travel to play fifth-placed BATTS, who have a gruelling end of season run-in with fixtures against Ormeau, Drumchapel and Ormesby to come.
Speaking of Ormeau, they will make the trip to face Cardiff on Saturday looking to end a two-game losing streak, having agonisingly lost 3-2 to both Urban and Ormesby.

Games are set to be streamed on Facebook, so make sure to check out the Facebook pages of each club throughout the afternoon for live action and updates.
