First Timers

Brilliant first Prees D game for Clare Vs Julius. Some really high standard rallies that were very enjoyable to watch. Close throughout. Julius was too strong in the end with his forehand winners.

Andrew Lines had an excellent first ever game Vs the experienced Tony Elliott. Played with a lot of composure and taking Tony to 9-9 before it was closed out. A great performance from Andrew. Well done young man. Tony showed his clinical skill in closing games 2 and 3.

Super first league win for Clare Vs Renan. This was a first league game for both players. It was a cagey affair with both looking to take the initiative. Renan played really well, just dropping some serve faults in his games to lose some momentum. Clare's forehand took control in game 4.
They will look forward to the return leg.

Clovey off to a flying 2 game start. Tony showed fighting grit to take the 3rd. The 4th was a tight affair too before Clovey closed it out with a forehand winner 11-9.

Julius Vs Clovey. A tight fought match with the experience showing through in the 4th. Sometimes you have to win ugly to disrupt the strength of your opponent.

Clare Vs Tony
Tony's short drop skills got him off to a quick start. Clare fought back in the 3rd but just got pipped over the line at 11-13.

A great introduction to the sport for Renan, Andrew and Clare.
