Torbay Academy I’s convincing 9-1 win over NA Buzzards gives them an unassailable lead at the top of the First Division. The Academy side of Kris Piwowar, Patrik Cincala, Grzeg Wojtowicz & Daniel Barnett are also heading towards two Cup finals in an attempt to win the treble. Without leading player, Kris Piwowar, they easily saw off the Buzzards, with Buzzards’ Mike Kiff’s victory over Daniel Barnett preventing the whitewash. NA Batmen finished off their campaign with a narrow 6-4 victory over Halwell

With the Battlers already champions, the race is on for runners-up spot in the Second Division. Second place Taverners’ 9-1 victory over Brixham Pirates reversed an earlier 6-4 defeat and makes the Taverners favourites, needing just 4 sets against Brixham Imports in their final match for the runners-up spot.  NA Eagles in 3^rd spot let a 5-3 lead slip to a draw against 4^th place Torbay Academy III.  Brixham Swallows’ Andy Millman’s fine maximum was not enough as he saw his side beaten 6-4 by stablemates Imports.

The important positions in Division 3 have all been confirmed. With Champions Denbury Tykes having the week off, it was left to runners-up Dawlish Diamonds to close the gap. The Diamonds defeated a 2-man Hasbeens side 8-2.  Brixham Swifts, already relegated, went down 9-1 to club mates Brixham Rebels.

NA Falcons’ 10-0 whitewash over Torbay Academy V at Torre means the Falcons just need a draw against bottom club NA Owls to grab the Division 4 title from Torbay Academy IV’s grasp.
