With just 3 matches to play, Torbay Academy 1 have opened up a 10-point lead over NA Batmen at the top of the First Division.  The Academy’s team of Kris Piwowar, Patrik Cincala & Grzeg Wojtowicz latest victory was a whitewash over NA Buzzards.  NA Batmen just about stayed in touch with a 9-1 win over basement side Halwell, Dennis Gibbs and Kelvin Cheung with maximums, but Mick Atkinson prevented the whitewash with a fine singles win over Shaun Gibbs. Brixham Sharks’ team of Adam Shipway, Josh Millman and Clive Banham defeated Torbay Academy 2 9-1, just dropping the point in the final doubles. Dawlish Aces, with Gergely Kiss going well, defeated Brixham Gulls 8-2, Chris Dunn gaining two valuable points for the relegation-threatened Gulls.

Torbay Academy 1 – Patrik Cincala, Kris Piwowar, Grzeg Wojtowicz

Torbay Academy 3, like their club mates in the First Division, look pretty invincible; their latest encounter was a 10-0 win over Brixham Imports. Herbie Sage, Dan Webster-Hall and Michael Hernandez were too good for a battling Imports side. Second-placed NA Eagles secured a 9-1 win over Marldon, with Ed Crawford and Jim McIvor unbeaten for the Eagles. The Battlers, with Keith Hawkins back in form, defeated Taverners 6-4, but then came up against a Martin Sharp-inspired Brixham Pirates who defeated the Battlers 7-3.  The Pirates, with two 7-3 victories in a week, move up to third place, however they could not defeat Marldon Tykes’ Paul Hine who secured 3 valuable points for his team.

Third Division leaders NA Hawks and 2^nd placed Torbay Academy 4 both had whitewash victories. The Hawks team of Mike Coxhead, David Doxsey and Doug Morgan brushed aside the challenge of Brixham Dolphins, whilst the Academy’s Ben Hoare, Matt Cooper and Jakub Piwowar eased past Dawlish Diamonds.  Denbury Tykes in 3^rd place defeated Brixham Diamonds 9-1, as Stephen Metcalfe and Mike Hern took maximums for the Tykes.  A second win in succession for NA Falcons has eased their relegation fears, their latest was 6-4 over the Hasbeens.

Torbay Academy 4 – Ben Hoare, Jakub Piwowar, Matt Cooper

Fourth Division leaders Torbay Academy 5 ended their campaign with a fine 9-1 win over NA Kites.  Harrison Grainger and Craig Collins were unbeaten for the Academy.  NA Ospreys also lost out to the Academy, losing 7-3 to a Lucas Bradshaw-inspired Academy 6.  NA Owls, with Dylan Bayliss and Travis Graham unbeaten, defeated Dawlish Drifters 9-1.
