Divisions 2 and 4, with fewer games to play than Divisions 1 and 3, have just completed their scheduled League fixtures, with all the important positions being decided and just a handful of rearranged matches still to play.

Division 2 champions are NA Falcons who have an unassailable lead at the top, following their 10-0 whitewash win over clubmates the Hawks. David Davies, Jeremy Broad and Ed Crawford saw the Falcons home, being watched by skipper Giles Tushingham who heads the 2^nd Division averages. Brixham Seals’ 7-3 win at Torbay Academy 4 confirms the runners-up spot for the Seals, who had Bob Parkins back on board with a maximum. Philip Avery was also unbeaten. Szymon Furgol was back in top form as he led his Torbay Academy 3 team to a 7-3 win at Brixham over the Trawlers.

NA Hawks’ Alan Tyrrell & David Doxsey v NA Falcons’ Jeremy Broad & Ed Crawford

The Division 4 title decider was an all-Torbay Academy affair as the Academy 7 team defeated their 6 team. Liam Wall was unbeaten and was well supported by Jamie McGuire and John Fowler as the 7^th team, starting a point behind the 6^th team in the table, won 8-2 to take the title by 5 points. Torbay Academy 6 are runners-up. NA Owls are currently 3^rd following an 8-2 win over club mates the Ospreys. Dylan Bayliss was man of the match for the Owls.  Torres R Us had a whitewash victory over Brixham Swifts, with Andrew Connor, Ann Morris and Bill Keywood on song for the Torre side.  Skipper Andy Guy picked up his first league maximum, as NA Vultures defeated basement side Dawlish Dodgers 7-3. Pete Sercombe also got a maximum for the Vultures.

Whilst Division One champions are not confirmed, only the NA Batmen can now catch Torbay Academy 1 at the top and that is very unlikely as they trail by 6 points and the Academy have a game in hand. Patrik Cincala was man of the match as Academy 1 defeated NA Buzzards 7-3. The Batmen from Newton Abbot kept their unlikely hopes alive with a whitewash victory at Halwell.  Lenard Hernandez and Dan Webster-Hall took maximums and helped Academy 2 to an 8-2 victory over Brixham Gulls.  Brixham Sharks whitewashed their colleagues, the Pirates, who were a player short.

In a similar picture to the First Division, the Third Division isn’t really in any doubt, with the two Tykes sides, Denbury and Marldon, way ahead of the rest of the field. Denbury Tykes, leading the table from game one, now have a 17- point lead over Marldon who only have two games left to play, with Denbury Tykes requiring just 3 points in their last 3 games to claim the title. Denbury Tykes’ latest victory was a 9-1 win at Torre against the Tigers, with Paul Hine and Huw Darch again invincible. Dawlish Diamonds, on a fine run of form, confirmed 3^rd place with a 7-3 victory over Hasbeens, as Bruce Freeman and Jim Saunders took maximums for the Diamonds. Dale Fabian and Peter Tarjan were unbeaten at NA Kestrels and climbed into 4^th place with a 9-1 win at Torbay Academy 5.
