Leaders Torbay Academy 1 found themselves 4-3 down against newly promoted NA Eagles but with the help of a maximum from Patrik Cincala they pulled it round to take a 6-4 win. Lauren Loosemore and Andy Tyrrell with two singles wins each for the Eagles had the champions worried for a while. NA Buzzards moved into the runners up spot with a whitewash victory over Brixham Gulls, Luke Bennett, Kevin Nicholls and Nick Halse in fine form for the Buzzards. NA Batmen, with Shaun Gibbs on top form, came away from Brixham with a fine 8-2 victory. Halwell defeated struggling Brixham Pirates 9-1, Rod Sugden and Dave Wadling unbeaten for the Halwell outfit.

The Second Division leaders, NA Falcons, had to come from 2-4 down against Torbay Academy 2 to continue their winning start to the season with a 6-4 victory. Denbury Tykes, with a Paul Hine maximum, kept up their 100% record with a 7-3 win over NA Hawks. Chris Garner was undefeated as Marldon Tykes shared the points with Taverners. Marldon eased home 6-4 against the Brixham Trawlers thanks to maximums from Helen Glover and Ed Thompson. Torbay Academy 3 were winners in another close encounter, NA Kestrels just losing out 4-6.
A clash between two title contenders in the third division saw NA Owls lose their first match and the leadership of the division as they lost out 4-6 to Torbay Academy 4. Torre Titans took up the leadership with a 6-4 victory over Brixham Seals, Chis Harper with a maximum for the Titans. The Kites, with two outings, lost out 6-4 to club mates the Harriers but bounced back with a convincing 9-1 at Brixham against the Dolphins, Andy Guy and Derek Stratton going well for the Kites. Draw specialists, the Hasbeens earned their third draw of the season as they shared the spoils with Torbay Academy 5, Alan Tyrrell with another maximum for the Hasbeens. Brixham Dolphins suffered their second 9-1 defeat in the week as they came across an inspired Torre Panthers winning their first match of the season, Carl and Steve Tucker were unbeaten for the Panthers.

Fourth Division leaders the Grove were beaten at home 3-7 by Torbay Academy 6 despite a fine maximum from the Grove’s Peter Daly. Dawlish Diamonds closed in on the leaders following their whitewash victory over Brixham Swifts. The Diamond’s Tony Bussell, Prabhu Kashap and Ron Stevens all too strong for a largely inexperienced Swifts team. A Michael Bow maximum helped his NA Vultures team to their first win of the season as they overcame Dawlish Dynamos 6-4. NA Ospreys continued their unbeaten start to the season with a narrow 6-4 win over Torbay Academy 7, Henry Greet and Mike Halse with maximums for the Ospreys.
