It’s all change at the top of the first division with Torbay Academy 1 and NA Batmen catching up with their fixtures they both go ahead of previous leaders NA Buzzards. Both Torbay Academy 1 and NA Batmen played twice this week both winning their matches comfortably. Torbay Academy 1 go back to the top of the table with a 9-1 win over Halwell B followed by a 10-0 whitewash of Brixham Sharks. The Academy’s Jakub Piwowar, Kacper Piwowar and Patrik Cincala were all unbeaten. NA Batmen followed up an 8-2 victory over NA Eagles with a 10-0 win at Halwell A. Batmen’s Naomi Jackson had two maximums, while Rory Harries, Shaun Gibbs and Dennis Gibbs secured a maximum each. NA Eagles recovered from their defeat by club mates the Batmen by comfortably beating club mates NA Condors 9-1 thanks to maximums from Mark & Tim Burridge.

Second Division leaders Torbay Academy 2 increased their lead at the top of the table with an 8-2 victory over NA Owls, Stuart Shipley and Ben Hoare with maximums for the Academy.  NA Raptors came away from Brixham with an impressive 6-4 victory over the Trawlers.  An excellent maximum from the Gulls’ Joseph Edwards helped his side defeat Torre Titans 6-4.

It’s tight at the top of the third division with the top two both having comfortable victories this week. Leaders Torbay Academy 3 defeated bottom side Torre Tornadoes 9-1 and have a 2 point lead over closest rivals The Grove who defeated NA Hawks 8-2. There were maximums for the Academy’s Craig Collins and Neville Cregan and for The Grove’s David Pearson and Jeff Cornish. A Steve Russell maximum helped his side Torre Vikings to a 6-4 victory over Torbay Academy 4.

NA Merlins had a fine 9-1 victory over Dawlish Doubtfuls in the fourth division, Jasem Abu Ali and Nick Kitchen with maximums for the Merlins.  Former Vultures player Lewis Short did his old team mates no favours by getting a maximum for his new team NA Kites as the two teams shared the points in a 5-5 draw.
