2023-24 SEASON 

It’s tight at the top of the first division with the top three teams battling it out for the title.  NA Buzzards are still at the top but Torbay Academy 1’s 7-3 victory over NA Parrots closes the gap to just four points with four matches to play. NA Batmen are ready to pounce, they sit twelve points behind the leaders in third with two matches in hand. Aarish Maharjan and Toma Mitranescu were unbeaten for the Academy in their win over the NA Parrots.  The points were shared in a mid-table clash between NA Eagles and Brixham Sharks, a Brian Birkbeck maximum for the Eagles not quite enough for victory.

Division two is also very close with the top three teams all winning.  Leaders Dawlish Aces, with a Jason Prescott maximum, narrowly defeated NA Falcons 6-4. Second placed Brixham Trawlers had youngster Joseph Edwards going well, he was undefeated in the Trawlers 7-3 victory over NA Kestrels.  NA Raptors kept up their interest at the top with a 7-3 win at Totnes over the Grove Guerrillas, Paul Hine with another maximum for the Raptors.  Mick Mercer and Mark Smith were undefeated for Halwell B as they climbed up the table to fourth following their 9-1 win over Torbay Academy 2.

Just the one match in the third division which saw Taverners close the gap on Torre Vikings at the top of the table to just two points. The Taverners, with Martin Dilkes and Colin Harrop unbeaten, defeated NA Kestrels 9-1.

Division four leaders Dawlish Doubtfuls are now ten points clear at the top of the table following their impressive 8-2 victory over NA Ospreys. Marc Grim and Peter Chadwick were unbeaten for the Dawlish outfit. Second placed Torbay Academy 5 have two games in hand so it’s another really close finish on the cards at the top of the fourth division.  The NA Vultures team of James Gilbert, James Kitchen and Fin Humphreys were too strong for the struggling Brixham Seals winning 10-0.
