A tough match played at Basildon when the C side took on early title contenders Hadleigh Forum B, 5 of the games going to 5 sets and at 5-4 with the doubles to play to decide the outcome, Andrew Murray being the decisive factor on the night going unbeaten and with the help of Tony Ayliffe taking the doubles to secure the win for the Basidon team, Bertie Makolli being the only other player to win more than one game on the night. the scores so far for Division 1 really showing what a tough division this will be this season.
