A convincing win for Hadleigh Forum who, even at this early stage of the season, appear favourites to return to Division 1 at the first attempt.  Maximums for Dave Woolmer and Graham Farmer plus a brace for Tony Mace and a narrow doubles victory saw the home side to a 9/1 win.  Basildon 'D's only point came courtesy of the evergreen Dave Kirston with a win over Tony Mace.  No joy on the night for Tina Hutchinson or Andy Roff, who was playing up from Division 3.
