Basildon 'D' leapfrogged their opponents and moved to second place in the Division 2 table courtesy of a narrow 6/4 win.  There were some very tight games, the closest of which saw Tina Hutchinson recover from losing the first set 11/1 to Jay to eventually get home at 14/12 in the decider.  As the Medics captain Mike Smith wrote "Despite Dr Chudi's maximum, Bas S&L D were well deserved winners against the Medics. An enjoyable match played in a good spirit."
