A big 9-1 win for Setts against Basildon 'D' although, in the words of Andy Hart, the score line slightly flattered the home side.  In particular, Tina Hutchinson was unlucky to end up on the wrong side of a close 5-setter in her game against him.  Dave 'Mr Spurs' Kirston recorded the only win on the night for Basildon courtesy of a straight sets win over Mike Newman.  With 2/3 of the season now played, Setts are in 2nd place, 6 points ahead of 3rd placed Stanford 'D', whilst Basildon find themselves only 1 point off the foot of the league but with an outstanding fixture against the Hospital to be arranged.
